The View From Our Kitchen Window

by Smockity Frocks on February 7, 2007

This is the view from our kitchen window.

When Mymomconnie was cooking dinner, 2 yr. old Katherine looked out the window and said, “Look what God made!”

How many two year olds see a sunset and say, “Look what God made”? How many say anything at all? We never said, “Look, Katherine, God made that.” She just knew. It just goes to show what can happen when you “Train up a child in the way he should go,” Proverbs 22:6. It also proves the truth of Psalms 8:2 “From the mouth of infants and nursing babes You have established your strength.” Psalms 8:2a. Isn’t it nice that a 2 year old can say this, knowing what she means?
