Pachelbel for Parents

I have said it before and I’ll say it again. I know a good idea when I steal one. I “stole” this one from Carmon at Buried Treasure. It is HILARIOUS! I promise you will laugh or your money back.

My kids were rolling around the floor cackling at the line, “I’m gonna tear up your behind.” I really have NO idea why because we certainly do NOT use language like that in this household.

We say hind end.

  1. Ok, I had to pick myself up off the floor from all the laughter! Not to mention the many tears that came out both from the sweetness of the song and the funniness (is that even a word?)! Very cute and I love the lyrics!

  2. I have watched this at least six times now. It is too funny! I put it on the sidebar of my blog. My parents used to have two of my sisters and me play this (Canon in D) at every Thanksgiving and Christmas for YEARS.

  3. This is great. I can’t wait to show the hubby and the kids! As hard as I was laughing early on, it also brought tears to my eyes at the end simply because I think every parent can relate.

The fact that the daughter walked in toward the end and the little movement of putting her head on his shoulder at the end just did me in! (I think I must be overly hormonal right now!)

Thank you for sharing this bit of joyful parenting encouragement with us! I laughed at first but that was soon followed by a few tears.

    Sweet!

  5. Thanks for sharing! That is great!

Pachebels Canon has been one of my very favorite pieces ever…now it’s even more endearing, I laughed my head off and could relate so well to what he was singing about, and I too got a little teary at the end.

I’ve been perusing your posts and they also have me laughing myself silly, they are so fun to read. I’ll be back for more!

LOVE IT!! Pachebel’s Cannon in D is my favorite.
