Vacation Summary

by Smockity Frocks on September 14, 2007

Updated to add a link. This is where we were. We’ve been 2 years in a row and we love it! Check it out!

We’re back!

We all had a marvelous time and we didn’t forget to take anything too important.

Here is a wrap up of the happenings:

  • No one threw up in the car!
  • 3 yr. old fell up to her chest in muddy water.
  • 3 snakes were sighted.
  • 1 yr. old was caught eating fish bait.
  • Twice!
  • Horses were ridden.
  • Fish were caught.
  • And eaten.
  • Did I mention no one threw up in the car?

Here are some photos:

The view from the front porch of our cabin.
Horse lovers Paddle boat fun Watching the horses graze The Bubba built this fire with nothing but his flint and steel and the materials he gathered from the woods.

Now, I’m off for a sonogram. Hopefully, I’ll have some exciting news to report later!

You’re back! You’re back! Yea yea YEA!!! I’ve missed you. Can you tell?

And I just can hardly wait for your sonogram. I’m sending you boy vibes. Although another cute girl would be welcome to read about.

And I’ve been meaning to mail you a money order but we went to Minnesota. And then I was planning on hauling the kids to the post office today and teaching them about the postal system at the same time– but, I don’t have winter coats out yet and it’s too darn cold. So, maybe tomorrow. I think they’re open tomorrow. I really do want to purchase an apron so I can be the perfect domestic goddess ever.
