A Fabulous Idea?

When The Mom organizes a massive group effort to sort, fold, and put away mounds of clean laundry, The Six Year Old will think it is a FABULOUS idea to completely empty the dresser she shares with A Sister so it can be reorganized.

The Mom?

Not so much.

  1. The Estrogen Files says:

(grin) I’ve so been there, done that! We have a bi-annual revamp since there is a premium on dresser space here. It’s just *loads* of fun (dripping sarcasm).

  2. hehe. I’ve been tackling two gigantic piles of laundry today. The dirty: 2 1/2 loads worth of towels, 2 loads worth of colors, 1 load of whites– and of course the sheets. Then there is a HUMONGOUS pile of clean laundry balanced carefully on a tiny two drawer dresser, two laundry baskets and my chest freezer nearly as tall as me. I’m 5 ft. 5 1/2 inches. That’s far too much laundry. How did this happen?!

And the 2 year old thinks it’s so much fun to watch Mommy do laundry that he keeps asking to try on different things and put on socks and play with clean laundry. I’m pooped.
