Mother’s Day Ideas

I’d love to know what y’all are giving for Mother’s Day this year. If you haven’t got anything yet, why not do your shopping here?

Be sure to come back and tell us all what you got. Some of us, and I totally do NOT mean me, may be short on brain cells and need some ideas to steal use as a springboard.

  1. I dunno! I think the kids and I are going to make something simple for my mom. I can’t do too much, she’s prepping to move…
As for myself. I plan on getting myself chocolate (my kids are little still, and my husband will be in Iraq by mother’s day)

  2. Smockity Frocks says:

Yes, Sandy, you deserve chocolate! I hope you enjoy many blessings that day. I’m so sorry your husband won’t be there. Is he serving in the armed forces?

  3. Hi again!!
He’s Army, but you already know that since we’re playing ‘blog tag’ LOL =P
For all the mother’s in our life, I usually make hand prints of the kids for them, because we both have moms, and stepmoms, and living grandmothers.
But…you have many more kiddies than I have…so that’d be A LOT of clay LOL…so I would take all the hands and put painted handprints in a flowery circle around a picture of all the kids. Then put it in an inexpensive Wal-mart frame that the kids all helped decorate.
