The Baby and Her Boy

The Boy has been mighty sick this week.

A doctor’s appointment confirmed our suspicions that he had a bad case of strep throat and he was given strict instructions to keep his smooches off The Baby.

He admitted that this would be difficult since she is so… so… smoochable!

You see, The Boy and The Baby share a room and, I’m not saying that we have favorites around here, but if we did have favorites, and if we were to admit such a thing out loud, and if The Baby could actually speak intelligible English, you might find out that The Baby loves The Boy a little bit extra.

And I wouldn’t presume to speak for The Boy, but I think the feeling might be mutual.

We’ve had to employ all manner of distractions to keep her away from him during the period of time the doctor said he would be contagious, and believe you me, it wasn’t easy!

This morning, though, The Boy had finally reached the time when he was no longer contagious, so we had a sweet little reunion of sorts.

The Baby loves Her boy.

And vice versa.
