Meeting the Lady Who Lives in a Shoe

by Smockity Frocks on July 4, 2009

I’ve been reading Life in a Shoe ever since Kim live blogged the birth of her boy a few years ago, so when she posted that she was going to be in my area and one of her readers was hosting a bloggity meet up, I was all over it!

I pitched the kids in Hogzilla and we were off to the big city for some fun and fellowship. The were 22 kids between us and they all ran around in the gym and made new friends while the mommies chatted in the adjoining room.

Here we are from left: Kim, Karen, me, and Paulette, our sweet hostess.

Is it just me, or do I look like the type who does all the talking? Okay, I AM that type, but someone has to carry that load. Right?

But, LOOK!

Photographic evidence that Kim got a few words in edgewise! She was saying something very profound in this photo. I think it was “and” or “when”.

Anyway, I was thrilled to meet all of these sweet ladies. Thank you, Paulette, for planning this!

Thanks for taking pictures and posting them! Loved meeting you in real life, and I'm glad we had you there to keep the conversation going. Karen and I weren't up for the job, and I wouldn't have wanted Paulette to have to do all the work. ;)

Feeling even more sad that we don't live in TX. 'sigh' I would love to meet both of you!

Maybe sometime you will be traveling through North East TN and I'll host a get together. Just give me some lead time.

Blessings,
Kimberly

Only 22 kids between you? I thought there would at least be 30, lol!
Looks like you had a lot of fun!
