Cracker Jack Snack

by Smockity Frocks on August 21, 2009

Have you tried the homemade caramel corn I posted about before? We had it tonight as our game night snack.

It is super simple and very yummy.

Start with 8 cups of popped corn.

Get the caramel good and gooey.

Combine the two and take a blurry photo of an oven that is in desperate need of cleaning.

Let cool and break apart.

Enjoy!

Connie…you are a genius!! How can this post have no comments! You have solved an issue I have had for months. You see, every Sunday night after church, instead of dinner, we eat popcorn and smoothies. It's usually late, I want the children to get to bed as soon as possible as we have to get up early Monday morning, so I have 2 choices…give them all their own bowl of popcorn and then stay up and wash all those bowls, or just put out a big bowl for them all to share and…well, you can imagine how that goes…11 hands trying to all get their fair share…double mess and a few tears.
But I DO have TONS of coffee filters and I NEVER drink ground coffee. Someone gave me the filters forever ago and I thought they could make a good craft or something for the children so I hung onto them.
But now, I know why I really have them!!!
Thank you my dear sweet friend!

I would leave a different comment adding to your fan list, but no, I just misspelled my name above. It’s still me. And, you’re still awesome! :)
