MaddieLynn, my 14 year old, has been requesting that she and I be able to spend some time together without anyone else competing for my attention.
I must humbly admit that I am EXTREMELY popular. Or at least my attention is a much sought after commodity. I’m going with the popular scenario.
After some thought and discussion it was decided that one night each month will be reserved for Mom to have alone time with a different child.
Tonight is MaddieLynn’s night.
She has chosen to go to a candy store, then a pet store, and finally out to eat at an Italian restaurant.
Okay, the restaurant was my idea, but I think it will nicely round out a fun evening, don’t you?

Mmmm… my kind of woman – any night that involves a restaurant is good.
Okay, actually, I was on board after the candy shop (pregnancy seems to have exaggerated my sweet tooth)!
Candy then dinner, sounds great.
Make sure you have a little salad at dinner "just to look good".
