My sweet Madison loves to bake! And we love to taste the things she bakes. It’s a match made in heaven, really.
Every few days, I’ll find her in the kitchen whipping up something delicious.
She recently made one of The Pioneer Woman’s chocolate pies. She started with a homemade pie crust and filled it up with the decadent chocolate filling!
Then she topped it with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
I wish you could taste how good this was! Yum yum, smack, slurp!

Oh, this looks heavenly!!
While this pie does look divine, I just can’t think of a chocolate pie with whipped cream topping instead of merengue. It’s my family’s southern recipe handed down for generations, so maybe I’m a snob LOL Or maybe this is like people who argue over whether a Pepsi is called a “coke”, “soda” or “pop”. double LOL

This looks delicious! I’ve just clicked on the link to the recipe and am hoping to make it tomorrow evening.. it looks mouthwatering! Madison is clearly very talented and an angel for making her family such lovely treats!!
