I am so excited to be spending the weekend in beautiful Breckenridge, CO at the Savvy Blogging Summit learning all kinds of writing tips and html coding secrets.
Here is a subpar photograph of J.D. Roth, author of Get Rich Slowly, who is giving us a wealth of information about how to grow our blogs.
Fortunately for you (and me) I will be in a photography class tomorrow, so expect to be WOW-ed by absolutely par photography very shortly.
One of the best parts of the summit, though, is meeting up with bloggy friends.
Here is Angie from Many Little Blessings, Amy (and her adorable baby bump) from Raising Arrows, Robyn from Our Homeschool Home, and the cutest baby on the block. We had a very enjoyable dinner together full of laughter and encouragement.
Here is Jen from Balancing Beauty and Bedlam. She is so sweet, she didn’t seem to mind at all when I tracked her down and forced her to be in this picture.
I’m enjoying my time and learning a LOT, not the least of which is, if you only put 2 diapers in your bag, the baby will have precisely 3 scatter poops and you will be trekking a mile and a half back to your room in the middle of one of the most interesting sessions.
If you could meet any blogger, who would it be?

Awesome pics, Connie! Love it!
Oooh, thanks for updating us from the Summit! I would meet…(oh gosh, so hard) either Kristin from We Are THAT Family or Amy from Amy’s Finer Things!
@Alicia’s Homemaking, Amy is my roommate. She is SO SWEET!!!
Um, or Amanda from OhAmanda. Or YOU!
I can’t wait to go to my first blogging conference.
Oh, Connie — what a sweet post! I loved having dinner with you, and seeing you throughout this weekend. You are such a beautiful person — inside and out!
*sigh* I’m trying really hard not to feel jealous. I so wish I could have found a sponsor.
@Kris @ WUHS and Eclipsed, We talked about missing you at dinner! {wiping away tear}
Oh, that looks like so much fun! Great pics of some great ladies!
Looks so wonderful! I’m loving the pics:) So maybe you could hold your own little conference, say somewhere in Texas, to share all your new knowledge;)
Totally off subject but what kind of carrier are you wearing in these pics?
@Amanda Sikes, I, too, would like confirmation of the brand / style baby carrier! Please share…
Sorry, didn’t mean to reply to you, but to Connie. Goofy me.
@Chick Hatchers,
My wrap is from http://www.SoNuturing.com
If you get one tell them you saw it here!
If I could meet any blogger I would meet you!
Id love to meet the lady from raising olives, or the lady from large family mothering, or YOU of course. Unfortunately, being Australian, that probably isn’t gonna happen.
@abba12, I have met Kimberly from Raising Olives and she is absolutely charming!
@Smockity Frocks, Thanks Connie! Hope you’re having a blast.
@abba12, Awww, thank you. I’d love to visit Australia sometime, ya never know. If you are ever near Tennessee – you’re invited for a visit!
I want to meet MckMama form mycharmingkids.net
@Jeanie Cullip, I met her! Sweet as peach pie!
@Smockity Frocks, I figured she would be.
Looks like you are having a wonderful time and learning lots. Can’t wait to have my mini-summit (in the extremely mini-mountains of our hometown) when you return. Learn lots of photography tips … I need the help. Blessings!
I want to meet MckMama, YOU, and Brent Riggs family.
You are at the top of the list of blogger friends I want to meet.
Well, yeah, you!
And I’m not jealous. Not in the slightest, leastest, littlest bit. Nope.
I would like to meet that Connie from Smockity Frocks. She always makes me laugh and is full of great advice. (Oh, and I hear she’s a knitter, too!)
I would also like to meet Kristin from We Are That Family. She inspired us to sponsor a child through Compassion International, and it has been a truly amazing experience.
So jealous you got to meet Jen, I wish I’d been there. But I’m glad you had a good time
Girl – of course you know I didn’t mind.
Ladies, for all you that want to meet Connie, she is precious, authentic and the real deal. Such a doll!
