Do you ever wonder what someone is thinking? These are the things I’ve been thinking about lately.
- This precious little girl is on the very precipice of heaven. I can’t stop thinking about her and praying for her and the family who loves her so.
- Remember the pop up book tutorial I showed you? This one, by a brilliant 14 year old girl, blows mine out of the water! We’ve watched it several times and my kids are making pop up books like crazy!
- Did you know you can make your own microwave popcorn with nothing more than a paper bag and popcorn kernels? Well, you have to have a microwave, but still… SIMPLE!
- Remember the homemade play-doh recipe I showed you? Here are some fun natural dyes for homemade play-doh.
- This birthday wish made me smile. I have met a few on line friends in real life and there are a few more I’d love to meet face to face one day. Have you met up in real life with any online friends?

….to answer your last question: Have you met any ‘online friends’? No, I haven’t really, though our kids bumped into other homeschool kids we only knew from photos and online whilst on camp/holiday last year. Hey – bumping into another homeschool family – this is Scotland. This is the UK. THAT just doesn’t happen! But it did, and they were chuffed to bits.
But I was going to say this: that some of my ‘blog’ friends, I almost feel like I *know* them. Much more so than FB and other internet…things! Yep, blogging definitely makes you feel like you know a person better, I think. But wouldn’t it be great to meet some in real life. O well, maybe some day. Or maybe just when we all get home to heaven.

@Anne, How fun! And how funny that you didn’t know until afterwards!
And… uh… “chuffed to bits”? I’m assuming that means “pleased as punch” or “thrilled to pieces”? :0)
I have been following Ashely’s blog for years now. My heart breaks for this family. I am praying daily for them. They truly do need a miracle.
Thanks so much for the popcorn link! I’ve been eating a lot of popcorn as a part of my high-fiber, low-calorie, lose-the-baby-weight diet, and I wanted a way to make it cheaper. This will make it even more low calorie, too, because I don’t need any toppings on it. Thanks!!
I really liked the links, thanks for sharing them

I have met an online friend – I don’t want to say too much, but sometimes you find you get on better with some people online than in real life!
@Dawn, Was it my breath? Hahaha! Just kid’n!
@Smockity Frocks,
It’s my lucky day! I’m getting ready to make play-dough and I think to myself… Smockity posted a good recipe not that long ago, so I head to your blog. And lookitchu… putting a link to just what I need, right in your very top post!
Thanks!
