  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THat beard! It’s so hilarious! It would still be funny but not quite as funny if it weren’t for her facial expression and pose! I wonder if you can get it scrubbed off before Sunday without needing to do skin grafts? 😛 Have fun!

  2. YOur daughter has beautifull smile.
I love picture of little foot :)

  3. That is an awesome cake! That precious foot and then……hmmmm. : ) Well, they are being creative with the markers, right? lol

  4. All the pictures are great! It shows LIFE!

  5. Awwwww Life in Smockityville! Love it.

  6. I just LOVE your posts, Conni! You are just adorable! I’d love to have you guest post on my blog sometime! I’m sure you have many, many stories to tell!

  7. O.k. the markers is my favorite.

  8. Oh No – I can so relate to that marker photo. Terribly funny when it’s not your child, but not so funny when you’re scrubbing the face!
    Have a lovely day
    Renata:)

  9. wow that is a great looking cake. For a first cake you can’t do any better. Looks so yummy. She is so pretty. Love the smile.

  10. Hey, I found out that my Mary Kay eye makeup remover takes marker off of kid’s faces. I don’t know if that would go for ANY eye makeup remover, but I’m betting so. Seriously, My 3 year old got my 1 year old’s face with a sharpie marker, just in time for church one day. The marker wiped right off the remover and a cotton ball, no scrubbing necessary.

  11. Beautiful cake – cute baby toes – and aaaaaggghhh on the marker! (I can relate, except our most recent marker incident was on the newly painted French doors….)

  12. I AM curious how you got the marker off of the little one’s face-when you have time, can you let us know??? =)

  13. I was wondering if that was permanent marker; praise God it wasn’t! Our boys paint on beards with charcoal pieces from our woodstove. Apparently, beards were very popular with Civil War soldiers 😉

  14. So my kids aren’t the only ones who do CRAZY things w/ markers! This comforts me… :)
