Have you ever tried brown sugar body scrub?
It is luxuriously silky with just enough grit to scrub away rough spots on hands, elbows, and heels.
We decided to make our own to sell at a little craft fair in our neighborhood. We sold quite a few and still have several to give away as Christmas gifts.
Participating in the fair was all my Madison’s idea, so she did all the work and kept all the profits ($46 net after paying costs). She was thrilled about it! Since she pays for her own gymnastics lessons, she is always on the lookout for a way to make extra money.
Here is how to make your own homemade brown sugar body scrub. You will need:
- tiny jelly jars
- brown sugar
- baby oil with shea and cocoa butter added
- THAT’S IT!
Scoop some brown sugar in a bowl and saturate it with the baby oil. Mix well and fill jars.
It should be the consistency of … brown sugar saturated with baby oil, but not drippy. You’ll want to be able to use a teaspoon or so without having any oily mess. It will look like this:
Try it! You’ll love this homemade brown sugar body scrub and your hands will thank you!
