  1. Lol! You’re so cute. :) I’m just me. I’m boring and only have 3 kids and no pets and my hottie and I have only been married just shy of 9 years. My oldest is 4 so there isn’t an extensive amount of homeschooling going on yet, just alot of hair pulling (me pulling mine, them pulling each other’s, the baby pulling everyone’s she can get her tiny hands on…) and alot of noise. Which I’m sure is old hat to you. ;)

  2. Haha I come from a family of 7 kids. I’m sure there were many times when it was CRAZY for my parents but now that I’m all grown up I love my big family. We’re loud and crazy but we’re all best friends and love hanging out with each other.

    Kari

  3. I am a SAHM and we have 8 children too! The two oldest ones are out on their own discovering the world! Life is DEFINITELY not boring with 8 children running around!! LOL While reading your blog post, I smiled and noticed that in your picture you were smiling too! Life is a blessing!

  4. I have visited your website a number if times, but am not sure if I have ever left a comment. I even checked one of your posts while on a trip to Australia! (I think it was the one about using post-its for scheduling. Although I know I watched the chores video too.)

I enjoy your blog – it’s fun and informative :)

  5. WOW! Look at your beautiful family. I am dreaming of moving to the country and gaining some wildlife. How about i live vicariously through you first? :)

  6. I think I’ve been here before but it’s prolly been a while :P I don’t really remember it.

Awesome lookin family :) I can’t wait till my son grows up :P

  7. you’re funny! Why did I just count your kids? lol Nice to meet you I’m stopping by from the UBP

  8. I love the name of your blog! Happy UBP 2011 – enjoy the party!

  9. Hi there – just stopping by to say hi as part of the party route. 8 children – wow! Feel free to visit our blog – http://yoursfaithfully.ca/blog/?p=203. Enjoy the party.

  10. I love your blog name and am in awe of the 8 kids & the fact that you homeschool them all. Amazing. Our oldest is 4 and we’re in the midst of trying to make some very tough & important decisions about school. Homeschooling is on the table as an option, so it’s definitely something interesting to me! :)

  11. Beautiful family! Enjoy your chickes and eggs. I’m a new follower from The Homeschool Village and look forward to reading more of your posts and panel discussions. ~ Ellen

  12. Hi! I’ve been reading for a while, probably since you started the “4 Moms…” posts. I started my own blog a couple of months ago, and am really enjoying it! Thanks for brightening up my day with laughter and love! (Oh, since everyone seems to be chatting about their families, here’s my stats…Hubby and I have been married 10 years, and we have three rowdy boys, 6, 4, and 2. People keep asking when we’re going to have a girl…*sigh*) Love reading your blog! :)

  13. Your kids are all beautiful! And, my Mom’s always wanted to have chickens – I’m going to have to direct her to your post… she’d love it.

    Happy blog party!

  14. Hi Connie :)

I was looking for info on smocking on youtube and found your video which led me to your blog…and I must say I LOVE your blog! So much info especially on homeschooling. Oh! I love the recipes you’ve posted here. Thanks! I come from a family of 11 kids and I’m the eldest. I’m learning to sew when I’m not writing (I’m a novelist). I’m sure going to visit this blog frequently :) Good job, Connie!
