Baby shoes and school supplies? Kids growing up

Adria March 19, 2011 at 7:28 am

The only thing I can think to be wrong with the picture is the calculator buttons #4 and #5 are incorrectly placed. The #5 should be in the middle.

Carla Oates March 19, 2011 at 7:29 am

The 4 and 5 are mixed up on the calculator! Took me a while to see it…

Kristen March 19, 2011 at 7:30 am

the 4 and 5 are transposed on the calculator.

Stephanie March 19, 2011 at 7:32 am

hahaha this is why I need to go back to sleep, I didn’t notice the numbers

Rebecca P March 19, 2011 at 7:37 am

The 5 and the 4 are in the wrong spot on the calculator.

Jennifer March 19, 2011 at 7:38 am

I saw this on my google reader and was so excited that I figured it out, but then when I clicked to comment, saw I was not the first. Your readers are so smart!

Fawn Owens March 19, 2011 at 7:41 am

The numbers on the calculator are off…. should be (from top to bottom) 741 then 852 then 963.

Rhonda M March 19, 2011 at 7:44 am

The 4 and 5 on the calculator are switched.

Jennifer Eastland March 19, 2011 at 7:46 am

I was so hoping to be the first answer! Gotta get up earlier next time! :) The numbers 4 and 5 are switched on your calculator!

the 4 and 5 are in the wrong place on the calculator

vanessa March 19, 2011 at 8:01 am

Hah! too funny. The calculator numbers are switched… and it kind of looks like one of the ballet flats needs it’s strap sewn on, but maybe that’s just the shadow.

Kate March 19, 2011 at 8:03 am

The 4 and 5 are mixed up on the calculator…

Jeni March 19, 2011 at 8:12 am

The buttons on the calculator are not right. Is it cracked, too, or is that just the light?

Amy March 19, 2011 at 8:18 am

The 4 & 5 on the calculator are switched!
(My internet misbehaved the first time I tried to post this, so I hope I”m not double commenting.)

Sabrina March 19, 2011 at 8:18 am

The four and five are mixed up on the calculator.

Amy B March 19, 2011 at 8:53 am

That was tricky – is it the calculator buttons? Where did that calculator come from anyway?
Thanks for a fun giveaway =)

Kimarie March 19, 2011 at 9:03 am

The calculator buttons 4 and 5 should be switched, and I think the shoes went through the dryer, and one of the shoe straps looks broken.

Laura @ Homemaking Joyfully March 19, 2011 at 9:04 am

The 4 & 5 are mixed up on the calculator. I was so excited that I saw it right away!!!

The buttons on the calculator.

Martha H. March 19, 2011 at 9:24 am

The calculator buttons 4 and 5 are backwards!

DeAnn March 19, 2011 at 9:26 am

That was good…I didn’t catch the numbers! I’ll have to guess something else..I’m sure its the numbers but maybe the shoes are not a matched set.
My two year old did that last night, two princess shoes, she had on two right feet but I didn’t notice until we where out and about. Bad Mom!

Deanna March 19, 2011 at 9:27 am

Yep, the only the I see that is physically wrong is that the 4 & 5 on the calculator are misplaced. Being a numbers nerd like I am (and a coordinator of Financial Peace University), I’m all about starting to teach my kiddos early in the ways of numbers and finance–but those teeny baby shoes and Flopsy Bunnies next to the calculator make even me feel kind of sad. So that’s a little wrong, too.

Sharon F March 19, 2011 at 9:29 am

They numbers on the calculator. But also those aren’t crayola crayons. ;)

Dede March 19, 2011 at 9:35 am

Besides the numbers messed up, why is thread with lil kid stuff?

Trooppetrie March 19, 2011 at 9:46 am

that none of these things go together
all things that have been found in the toilet
that you have a child learning to sew and one to color and one still in baby shoes

Heather March 19, 2011 at 9:52 am

The calculator numbers 5 and 4 are reversed.
I am very number oriented so I checked the calculator first. :-)

Piper March 19, 2011 at 9:53 am

The calculator numbers 4 & 5 are switched

Lisa March 19, 2011 at 10:40 am

Well, the answer could be that the 4 and 5 are switched around on the calculator, OR maybe it’s that you found all these items in your refrigerator!!!! Hey, I’ve found stranger things the kids have put in the fridge!!!

Dana March 19, 2011 at 10:56 am

The numbers are off on the calculator. That could make things interesting. Did it come that way? or do you have some entertaining people living in your home? :)

Jessica March 19, 2011 at 10:58 am

The 4 and 5 on the calculator are switched.

sharron March 19, 2011 at 10:58 am

The 4 and 5 are switched.

Sara March 19, 2011 at 11:55 am

I see the numbers now, but I originally thought…um, crayons and a book should never be that close to each other in a house full of littles! :o )

Christine March 19, 2011 at 12:21 pm

I saw it right away! :) The 4 and 5 on the calculator are mixed up.

sarina March 19, 2011 at 12:22 pm

the 4 and the 5 on the calculator need to switch places :)

Sarah March 19, 2011 at 1:36 pm

FishMama March 19, 2011 at 4:30 pm

And here I was going to say something about how when we were kids, everything but the calculator was a common everyday item. Remember how expensive calculators used to be?

Karla March 19, 2011 at 4:50 pm

the 4&5 on the calculator are backwards!!

The 4 & 5 are switched on the calculator. Cute idea… I still look at my kids’ “Highlights” to find the “What’s Different” on the back cover. I know. I’m easily entertained. ;)

marla March 19, 2011 at 7:28 pm

The numbers on the calculator. The 4 and 5 are backwards.

sheila March 19, 2011 at 7:33 pm

The numbers on the calculator are off, but not just the 4 and 5.
The numbers should read:
123
456
789

(Love your blog! )

Marissa Anderson March 19, 2011 at 8:22 pm

The number 4 and 5 are switched on the calculator.

Rebecca Coffman March 19, 2011 at 8:44 pm

After thinking maybe that everything was from days gone by and the calculator was out of step, I noticed that the 4 and 5 were in the wrong places.

Sarah March 19, 2011 at 9:19 pm

The 4 and 5 are switched on the calculator.

Lisa H. March 20, 2011 at 12:51 am

The 4 is where the 5 should be and vice versa on the calculator.

Sonya March 20, 2011 at 6:46 am

The 4 and 5 are backwards:)

Jennifer March 20, 2011 at 8:00 am

The numbers 4 and 5 are backwards

Kat Menard March 20, 2011 at 8:03 am

Ok, i see that the 4 and 5 were switched. however my first thought was a worry for you since there are crayons and no paper… that is a big worry in my house with a 2yrold who can wreak crayon havok. Unless you want to tempt someone to color Flopsy’s face blue on EVERY SINGLE PAGE, i would add a sheet of paper. But perhaps that is just a problem at my house.

Tequita March 20, 2011 at 8:06 am

The blue crayon doesn’t fit the color scheme.

Cindy in GA March 20, 2011 at 8:08 am

The numbers are switched on the calculator! 4 is where 5 should be, and 5 is where 4 should be.

Nancy Rathbun March 20, 2011 at 8:16 am

What’s Wrong with this picture??

Nancy Rathbun March 20, 2011 at 8:17 am

What’s wrong with this picture? The word ‘of’ is missing from the title of the book

Joede March 20, 2011 at 9:18 am

The calculator numbers are incorrect, but also the dvd seems out of place. You have a calculator which uses hands, thread that uses hands, shoes that use your feet, crayons that use your hands and a dvd…just seems out of place with all the other items.

Detta March 20, 2011 at 9:45 am

The 4 and 5 are switched. This was fun!

Jennifer G. March 20, 2011 at 10:26 am

Crayons and a nice book. Big no-no! :) I totally missed the 4 and 5 thing. You guys are good!

Heather March 20, 2011 at 12:25 pm

I haven’t read any comments yet and I’m guessing that it’s the numbers 4 and 5 and flip-flopped on the calculator.

Nicki March 20, 2011 at 12:34 pm

The numbers 4 and 5 on the calculator are reversed. And I didn’t look at any other comments before guessing!

Cathy March 20, 2011 at 1:49 pm

Ha-ha…the “4″ and “5″ buttons are inverted.

Merry Jo March 20, 2011 at 2:26 pm

the 5 and 4 are reversed! :) (At first I was thinking that the calculator is what’s wrong ~ I mean, as a former math teacher, we should be using our BRAINS and not calculators… :) )

Katherine March 20, 2011 at 2:27 pm

4 and 5 are in the wrong places on the calculator. Too fun! (And I didnt peek at anyone else, figured it out from my email)

Betty S March 20, 2011 at 2:39 pm

Keys are out of place four and five, maybe more, on the calculator and if the crayons were pointing upward they wouldn’t stain the material they are pointing toward. The thread doesn’t exactly match the shoes if that’s what it is for but that’s ok. Hmmmm. No little children around, maybe they are in bed or out to play. Maybe they were supposed to put these away and didn’t. The book isnt open and being read. I’m over thinking this I am sure. You tell us! What is wrong with this picture?! Have a great day! Last day of Spring Break 2011….Back to school.

Amy Walton March 20, 2011 at 3:39 pm

The 4 and 5 are switched on the calculator. No I didn’t read the comments to find out.

Sarah R March 20, 2011 at 4:05 pm

Haha that’s funny- the 4 and 5 numbers on the calculator should be switched. Where did you get the calculator?

The 4 and 5 are in the wrong places on the calculator. Love your blog :)

Lisa Passero March 20, 2011 at 7:09 pm

My daughters believe that what is wrong with this picture is that the shoes do not belong on the table and the things are not properly put away. :)
However, I noticed the incorrect placement of numbers 4 and 5 on the calculator.

Nikki March 20, 2011 at 10:02 pm

How is it you have two perfectly unused crayons in your home of EIGHT children?!

amber March 20, 2011 at 10:47 pm

whats wrong with this picture? Once i saw this. I thought , this is the kind of stuff i would find on the floor that was left from my kids. The crayons and the book. that just mean trouble for my little one. I mean if i didnt pick them right away, i can just image my 3 year old drawing all over the pages inside the book. Then i looked at the calculator. I notices that the numbers are in the wrong places and its broken. I looked at the shoes and i couldn’t find anything wrong with them but i guessing they need to be fix because of the thread. good lucky everyone

Angela March 21, 2011 at 6:10 am

Nikki March 21, 2011 at 4:17 pm
