Refreshing Spa Water

When I was at The Hilton Sandestin Resort for my awesome beach getaway, I fell in love with the water offered in the spa there.

So I decided to make my own.

I picked up this nifty 3 gallon beverage dispenser at Walmart. It has an insert for ice so the beverage stays cold.

Refreshing Spa Water Recipe

  • 1 cucumber
  • 2-3 lemons
  • 3 gallons water

1. Wash cucumber and lemons.

2. Slice thin.

3. Add water and ice.

4. Enjoy!

  1. I came across water with cucumber at a Sushi resturaunt a couple years ago and started making it at home. However, I am the only one in the house who likes it so instead of making a large container I put one slice of lemon and one slice of cucumber in my glass, add ice and water and enjoy! The same lemon & cucumber slices last me all day long as I refill with ice and water as needed. I drink way more water than I use to!

  2. I’m not big on flavored water so I would not enjoy the drink but I love the pitcher. I love how it has an ice insert to keep it cold! Thank you for the post because now I have to go and buy one! :-)

  3. After seeing your original post a few weeks ago, I started trying to make this. I find that if I pour a couple cups of hot water over the lemons and cucumber and let it sit for 10 minutes before adding cold water, the flavor is stronger. I have been able to totally quit my Crystal Light habit by drinking this. To mix it up a bit, you can also add fresh ginger and/or mint leaves. I’ve been amazed how refreshing it is and how I don’t feel deprived like I do when I’m drinking plain water.

  4. Wow! I can’t wait to try this. My kid have so many allergies that special drinks are rare around here. We can have this.
    Blessings, Dawn

  5. I’ve totally got to try cucumber in my water, I do water and lemon, or lime, but since my one year has started stealing my water I want to lay of the citrus this sounds great!

  6. As soon as I read this I thought, “Hmmm, I’ve got these ingredients right now.” So, I whipped this up in 2 minutes and within 10 minutes was drinking the most refreshing water I’ve ever tasted! Thanks for the inspiration!

  7. Add a few sprigs of mint if you like mint… it really is amazingly refreshing, and no sugar!
