Have you ever tried digital scrapbooking?
I never had before very recently, but when I attended the Mamas Write Christian blogging conference, I was introduced to BluMoxy, the digital scrapbooking tool that allows you to pull photos and their comments from Facebook, Twitter, and your Blogger blog, so you can make your own personalized memory books.
BluMoxy was one of the conference sponsors, so I listened to a little presentation about how simple they make digital scrapbooking. I was intrigued! One thing a mom of eight loves to hear when considering a new tool is “simple”!
I gave the free trial a whirl and enjoyed playing around with choosing backgrounds, placing my photos, and adding text.
You can share your created pages using your social media sites, save them to your computer, email them, or print them out.
It was super easy to sign up for the BluMoxy free trial. It took me only a few seconds to enter my name, email, and password, and then I was all set to go!
I chose “connect with Facebook” in one click, and all the photos I have ever uploaded to my personal Facebook account were immediately available for making a memory book! I LOVE this aspect of the site! There was no waiting for one photo at a time to upload. I was able to complete the above pages in a matter of minutes!
You can also pull photos that your Facebook friends tagged you in. This ensures that you haven’t missed a single tagged photo of yourself, whether you uploaded it or a friend did. You can also select images by album name, keyword search, and time frames.
You probably already have all your best photos uploaded to Facebook, like I do. Why not make them into a scrapbook to print out, email to family and friends, or share on your social media accounts?
