  3. Hey Connie, I finally saw an American news article promoting having children! http://t.now.msn.com/low-fertility-rate-in-us-means-population-is-not-replacing-itself
Basically it says that America will be in trouble because Americans are not having babies. Wow…huh… LOL
God is so amazing and wonderful!

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this! I ran right over and got it.

  5. A question for you or your readers on the topic of weight loss… After giving birth to each of our five kids I have noticed that if I try to exercise or watch what I am eating to help loose the baby weight my milk produciton suffers almost immediately. After the pounds I loose during labor & delivery I struggle to loose any more weight until baby is about 9mo. old and not nursing as much anymore. I was a runner in college and would enjoy being able to get out and run again, or even just take regular brick walks while trying to consume fewer calories but my milk supply really suffers. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Thoughts, sugestions?

    • I have the same problems with the milk supply. This time, I’ve lost 45 pounds in 10 months, and I’m still breastfeeding. Baby is 14 months old. I’ve got 20 more pounds to go. This was my 6th baby. I waited until the baby was 6 months and then started trying not to take second servings. I also started walking 10-30 minutes a day, so far, not consistent. You need to drink at least 12 glasses of water a day according to the Mayo Clinic info for breastfeeding moms. It’s slow going, but I feel happier being 165 than 210!

I did weight watchers with 2nd baby and lost my milk in 4 months even though I did weight watchers for breastfeeding moms. Big thing is to drink 12 glasses of water. I waited to stop breastfeeding before I lost the weight with the other babies because I didn’t want to lose my milk.

I do NOT mess with milk supply! I know it is a very delicate thing and have had problems with diminished milk supply when I was trying to lose weight, so I always take it VERY easy on my weight loss and exercise goals at least until I am adding in baby food.

      • Thank you ladies! It is encouraging to hear that other have had similar experiences. I too have always chosen nursing my babes over weight loss, I just wish I could do both! :-) Oh well, it’s good to know I am not alone. I really should be better about drinking more water though and see if that would make a difference.

  6. Hmmm… I went to Amazon using the link and it isn’t free. It’s still 2/4, so not sure why.

  7. @zekesmom10. Same thing finally got around to downloading today & it’s not a freebie anymore. Bummed. :(
